Last month saw a significant drop in US Consumer Confidence, as it slid from the previous 80.2 to just 71.2. However, analysts expect an improvement in November as they see the figure moving up to 72.5.

What It Is About and Why It’s Important
Analysts see the UK’s GDP to improve by 0.8% in Q3, which is slightly better than the previous rise by 0.7%. Current GDP is also up by 1.3% on a YoY basis.
Event: Durable Goods Orders (Oct) – United States

While Durable Goods Orders have risen steadily over the past few months, analysts expect it to drop in October by 1.5%.
Event: GDP (QoQ/YoY, Q3) - Switzerland

What It Is About and Why It’s Important
While Switzerland’s GDP is seen to continue its positive trend, it’s expected to be lower than previous figures. The year-over-year improvement is seen to be at 1.8% compared to the previous 2.5%, while the quarter-over-quarter growth is expected to be at 0.4%, which is lower than the previous 0.5%.

While Germany’s unemployment rate is seen to stay steady at 6.9%, unemployment change is seen to grow by 3k, which is higher than the previous 2k.

Germany’s CPI and Harmonised CPI are seen to stay steady at 1.2% on a YoY basis. Meanwhile, the CPI is expected stay flat from the previous -0.2% on a MoM basis. Harmonised CPI is expected to drop by 0.1% on a MoM basis.

What It Is About and Why It’s Important
From the previous 0.8%, the EU’s Core CPI is expected to rise at the same rate in November on a YoY basis. Meanwhile, CPI for November is also expected to rise by 0.8%, slightly higher than the previous 0.7%.
